  • Barbara Lee Family Foundation: advances women’s equality and representation in American politics through targeted research and writing.

  • Lead Ohio: supports progressive Ohio leaders and offers programs to those considering running for local and statewide office, as well as weekend political workshops, Women LEADing and progressive issue trainings.

  • Emily’s List: trains and financially supports pro-choice women running for office.

  • POWER: Programs for Women Empowered to Represent—the John Glenn College of Public Affairs includes New Leadership Ohio for undergraduates, and Ready to Run, Women of Power and POWER Initiatives for all Ohio women.

  • Ohio Women in Government: a non-partisan organization in Columbus, Ohio, giving women working in, interested in, or affected by public policy the opportunity to network, discuss political / policy issues, and experience speakers and related topics.

  • Vote, Run, Lead: teaches women to run for office and win. It is the largest and most diverse campaign and leadership program in the country with practical online and in-person training resources.
